Who we are
Personal Construct Education Trust is a charitable incorporated organisation registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, charity number 1195916, at 1 Top O Th Hill, Colden, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, HX7 7PJ, United Kingdom. Visiting this website
The site consists of static pages. We set no cookies, run no analytics and load nothing from other companies’ servers. Nothing you do here is profiled or sold.
Our host, Netlify, records technical information such as your IP address, the pages requested and your browser type in its server logs. This is necessary to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.
If you write to us
Messages sent to contact@thepcet.org are forwarded by our email provider, ImprovMX, to a mailbox we hold with Google. We use your message and your address only to reply and to keep a record of our correspondence, and we keep it for as long as it is needed for that purpose.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact the Trust.
If you use the contact form
The form on our contact page is handled by Netlify, our host. Your name, email address, subject and message are stored there and are also sent to our mailbox. We use them only to reply to you and we delete submissions when they are no longer needed.
The form has no third-party spam protection and sets no cookies. It contains a hidden field that only automated senders fill in, which is how we filter most spam.
Applying for a grant
When we run a call for applications, we ask applicants for the information the trustees need to assess the application, which may include a questionnaire, an interview and references. That information is seen by the trustees and is used only to decide on and administer grants.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to contact@thepcet.org and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
